On December 12, Shantui Co., Ltd. and China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (Sinotruk) jointly held a large-scale delivery ceremony for new energy concrete mixer trucks in Jinan. The event, themed “Empowering Technology, Equipping a Better Future,” brought together representatives from industry associations, strategic partners, and key customers, highlighting the companies’ shared commitment to green and low-carbon development.

High-Performance Products Power Low-Carbon Upgrade

The Shantui new energy mixer trucks are built on SINOTRUK HOWO chassis and benefit from optimized powertrain matching within Shandong Heavy Industry Group. Featuring a spacious cab, air-suspension seats, ABS, and advanced safety systems, the vehicles deliver high levels of safety, reliability, and operating efficiency

Equipped with a 350 kWh long-range lithium iron phosphate battery, the trucks can be charged in approximately 40 minutes and achieve a driving range of over 200 kilometers. With low noise operation and zero emissions, operating costs are reduced by around 55% compared with conventional diesel mixer trucks.

The mixer drum is manufactured from 700-grade high-strength steel for superior wear and corrosion resistance. Its patented concave double-curved spiral blade design, combined with a dual-logarithmic spiral layout, increases effective drum capacity by 8% without compromising loading or unloading efficiency, effectively preventing concrete segregation and ensuring higher transport quality.

As green development becomes a defining industry trend, this batch delivery represents not only a successful outcome of technological collaboration, but also a vivid demonstration of the “technology-empowered equipment” concept.
