On December 10, the successful hoisting of the steel liner Module 4 for the Zhangzhou Nuclear Power Unit 3 reactor marked a significant milestone. Using Zoomlion’s 2000t crawler crane, the operation was completed with precision, ensuring safety and quality control, propelling key construction phases of the reactor building forward.
Module 4, a critical component of the reactor's containment shell, measures 46.8m in diameter, stands 9.96m tall, and weighs approximately 221.406t. Despite challenges such as high wind resistance and crowded tower crane surroundings, the 2000t crawler crane performed complex movements seamlessly, ensuring a flawless installation.
Zoomlion cranes, including the 3200t crawler crane, have consistently provided robust support for the Zhangzhou Nuclear Power Project. Notably, the same 3200t crane recently completed the dome installation of Unit 1, which successfully connected to the grid, highlighting significant progress in the mass construction of the Hualong One reactor series.
